My First

Describe a family member.

What a beautiful day to chat, not the weather, just the fact that we are breathing, alive and with that we always have hope, so

Hello My Friends

Here is the only way I can describe my eldest child

When I first held my daughter, my first born child 36 years ago I saw what all parents see a perfect little bundle of squawking, pooing, feeding, bundle of noise and I loved her with all my heart. She is now the eldest of my six children and has spent many years helping me with the youngest two. I remember a time she helped pay for her brother to go on a school skiing trip and help find his spending money, no we never had a lot, I still don’t, but it’s like anyone else you make do. She actually put her life on hold because I had unfortunately become very poorly, which led to me being disabled, and lived back at home working nearby so she could deal with any issues and just generally help two volatile young teenagers cope with life. She took them on days out and holiday and even gave them pocket money.

My daughter is no perfect princess and has had her fair share of issues from school and confidence problems, dealing with bullies, and seeing so much extreme violence from my ex husband towards myself. In all she has dealt well with these things and went on to do a university course and obtain a job where she lived in London, travelled the world with this job. On a private level she has visited Australia, Dubai, and the USA on many occasions .

I talk about her triumphs because when life continually knocks you back and you keep forging ahead, that shows your determination, what you are made of and I am proud to say she is made of strong stuff. She has been where she has because she has earned it, no silver spoon in this family.

I am proud of all my children for different reasons. But when asked to describe A Family Member then I can’t go through them all. I chose not to describe her features because every child is beautiful or handsome to their parents (normally). She always was a cute child and she now has a daughter who looks very much like she did at that age. But it’s her personality and generosity that always shone through to me and she has always been my friend as well as my daughter. We could sit and laugh for hours, or cry over a movie, we still have lunch every 6 weeks and we don’t ring each other much but we text , knowing if ever there was a problem we are just a phone call away.

Have a lovely

Day
