How do you feel about cold weather?

Hello my friend, hi 👋

What a day today has been, I woke up with my eyes opening, wider and then, I can say hand on heart I had my eyes wide open. Seriously it was amazing, Then I said to myself ‘What a wonderful world’. I asked the device that’s always listen (no not Sir Starmer Llamas army) to ‘Turn the Radio on’ .

One final check in the mirror before starting my day I heard ‘Nellie the Elephant 🐘 packed her trunk’, playing on the radio and smiling to myself I went to make a coffee.

I was ‘Walking on Sunshine’ or rather sitting on the stairlift and gliding on sunshine streaming through the window.

Oops forgot about the reason I came here to write to you and chat, well I saw this little prompt or question whatever you wish to call it, interesting was my second thought, my first being another cup of coffee.

So how do I feel about cold weather ? Well several things to be fair, I am not an Eskimo nor am I an Amazonian Warrior Women .

I do not like cold because my legs ache, my muscles cramp, and my internal thermostat seem have to broken. So my feet are always cold and look slightly blue.

On the other hand I am not happy with heat either as again I cannot control my internal temperature

So conclusion;

I am not an Eskimo, neither do I ever or have I ever fancied holidaying in colder corners of the globe. So therefore I am not a fan of the cold, freezing, or frozen, re the cold, what’s the point all I do is wrap up and get the blankets out, until it warms a little. I’m rather lucky as here in the UK 🇬🇧 we don’t suffer to much with extremes in temperatures but we suffer with not being able to afford to heat our homes. That though is another story and not a fairy story either, one full of wicked lies and robbing greedy people, demons and wizards 😂😂

Actually I think if I was told I had to live in colder climates I would go live in a bear den and hibernate till the sun shone and the ground warmed again.

But I am not alone in my disappointment, disagreement

As was so many generations of my family, farmers I will just say.

Now this is an awful attempt at a rhyme and I could have written something so much more eloquent, BUT this man, this Llama ok I know his name is Starmer but to me he is a woolly headed arrogant creature that promises one thing then spits in your face. Go on say it but Llamas can’t promise, well they do, they look so innocent so they give the vibe of a promise. Back to my crap rhyme, I did it like that because I did not want to loose my cool so made it as short as I could, like I wish his term was in 10 Downing Street.

I have to add this politically I normally am quite chilled but I have survived some scrapes in life, I always say I am a survivor but when the news is pounding with it’s costing our country over £8 million per day just to house incoming illegals (I don’t do political talk at the end of the day a spade is a spade) that cost is rising with the amount that are coming here.

Now I have had to have my income stopped to be put on a separate benefit which will in effect lower my income over a period of time. I don’t go on holiday, I don’t have takeaways and 5 days a week I have 1 meal a day then 2 days I have 2 meals it’s all about cost . Now the change over of money means no money for between 5 and 8 weeks this is Starmers Britain. I know there are worse off and some just like me, I also know that people will say he inherited a broken Britain but Conservatives inherited the same broken Britain from The great and glorious Tony Blair.

Maybe I should sit on the beach with some brown shoe polish and a pair of water wings (I am not a racist but this man is actually turning this country into racists) back to the beach 🏖️ with my luck someone would call greenpeace and i would be pushed back into the water mistaken as a beached whale 🐳.with the boot polish they would say Orca.

That’s it I can feel me marching as if to war so it’s down keyboard and watch tv or something less taxing 😉

To Vote or not to Vote?

Do you vote in political elections?

Although I live in the UK, a supposedly open and transparent western country, the politicians are as crooked as Fagin from Oliver Twist . Before any and I mean any election there are promises made for every party, then the backbiting between parties, he/she/it said this/that/the other. So the voters in this country are either a staunch X, Y, Z voter or confused as hell who to trust and either put a cross by who they guess has made a plausible sounding statement or the worst outcome develop an apathy towards the whole voting experience.

So yes I vote and because I can’t get to the polling station I have a postal vote.

At least when things go wrong I can legitimately moan or hang my head in shame because I helped someone onto a local or district council or become an MP therefore putting a new ruling party over our country

Thus giving a type of ultimate power

Ultimate power, ultimately corrupts, how true this seems to be in what was once formally known as Great Britain, now she hangs her head in shame as we sink into the murky waters that surround us

How have your political views changed over time?

Dear friend,

I must apologise for the title to this piece, you see when I was younger I really believed Santa Claus was real and that our political parties wanted what was best for our nation (I live in the UK 🇬🇧).

Then I got a little older and at 16 the Uk sent the Military to a political incident in the Falkland Islands,normally I would say it’s called war when missiles are fired and people die. This was under the Conservative Leadership of Margaret Thatcher.

I decided that I didn’t believe in Santa and I would be Labour if getting people killed was being a Conservative. Also unemployment was high and a lot more issues at the time.

Now go further down the line Labour, Tony Blair once one of the most popular of prime ministers this country has ever seen. But like many people before him and many more to come, ultimate power ultimately corrupts.

A quote from “the Spectator” “In crucial areas, he wanted change for change’s sake, with no thought to the long-term consequences”

It’s almost like he got up one morning and started galloping through English and European Law and decided to start the process of change to things that did not need changing.

Then there was Iraq- I will say no more on that subject only ;

So I changed again I looked left and right and in the middle and decided, politicians are not from the same world, the ones in government that is. The ones that influence and run the country have no idea how us mere mortals survive a bleak winter, while they sit in cosy homes, not worried about counting every last penny, or can they afford some bread and milk before payday. worried about the heating bill.

So back to the beginning yes my political views have changed over time I now think Santa Claus has more chance of being real than the Bumbling Buffoons that call themselves politicians ever doing something for the people of this country unless it suits an agenda for themselves.

Oops don’t forget the latest one changes the law to suit himself and tries to stamp out freedom of speech.

From now on I vote Santa at least he gives and doesn’t take, take, take
