What bothers you and why?

I was thinking shall I answer this can I really be bothered today, because nothing I could think of bothers me to much I have to say.

I sat and thought how tolerant I have become over the years, I am impressed with myself . I don’t get bothered by the trivial things that used to keep me awake, night after night.

For instance;

Why does that group of mums at the school stare but won’t say hello back to me? Why are my children such fussy eaters? Why is my marriage a failure? Why am I always so cold? Why? Why? Why?

Every night and day ate me away, self doubt, oh botheration of all bothers

Then when my health took a nasty downhill turn I took all the bothers and over the next few years I fed them to my demons. Let them get fat on everything that worries and bothers me. Now my head was all over the place at the time but, I knew one thing if I fed them all the things from small to large, issues, gripes, angers, fears and bothers till they are full, over full , those demons of mine would explode and they did.

Then my head was empty of petty issues and if something comes along it’s probably got a reason usually I am tired or in pain. At the end of the day if something is bothering you either work out why, walk away, or get some help.

1. All of us were born, that is life. I was born in 1966. Of this fact I am certain

2. One day we shall all die, a sad truth. The most wonderful man in the world my step Father died end of 2022. Of this fact I am certain

The weather is different all over the world, some places get too much sun and not enough rain other places the other way round, some countries have cold winters and hot summers and others are vice versa. Here in England they say the weather is changing but we still get plenty of rain. Of this fact I am certain

4. Love hurts, it doesn’t matter if it’s partner, parents, children or friends at some point the love you have will be tested, strained maybe even broken. That hurts so much it could be a knitting needle piercing up to your heart feeling crushed. Of this fact I am certain

6. History is full of bloody battles, poisonings, plotting and pillage rape and gruesome behaviour. The worst bit is we think we have moved on evolved , no the human race is still as bloody nasty now with wars,murders Political manipulation, child abduction. These are not just things plucked out of thin air history was glorified sometimes written 100 yrs plus after the event, what’s happening now is at times glorified by journalists. I don’t believe the humanity is better or worse than it was 400yrs ago. Of this fact I am certain

7. Jokes are intended too make you laugh 😂 there are many types of jokes to suit all humour. It is written everyone has a sense of humour but some you have to dig deep to find it. Me I laugh at way too much Of this fact I am certain

8. I write too much Of this fact I am certain

9. Meditation is good for calming every part of you, for aligning chakras, stopping those nerves jangling, calming thoughts and breathing.. then at the end of the session a sense of peacefulness enrobes you. Of this fact I am certain

10. I appreciate the time anyone takes to like or even to stop and say hello. The problem we have is we lead busy lives, we don’t get time stop and appreciate the people that do like what we have written. So today I want you all to know how grateful I am that you take the time to like what I write or agree with what I write ✍🏽 Of this fact I am certain

Are you seeking security or adventure?

I seek it here I seek it there, oops I’m in danger of sounding like the lines from The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy PERCY:

That demned elusive Pimpernel……the thing is the wording got me thinking am I seeking security or adventure. Here goes

What is the full meaning of seeking?

verb (used with object),sought, seek·ing. to go in search or quest of: to seek the truth. to try to find or discover by searching or questioning: to seek the solution to a problem

What is seeking for meaning in life?

We define the search for meaning in life as the strength, intensity, and activity of people’s desire and efforts to establish and/or augment their understanding of the meaning, significance, and purpose of their lives

Ok both are standard definitions used in dictionary’s available on line. Now my take is to look at either one of these is well you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to realise you need some security behind you to go have adventures, after all the world is a changing place working your way round living off the land, is not as easy as it once was.

Having adventures is wonderful but in the world in which we now occupy can be expensive, it’s no longer a free experience that it once was. Adventures can be anything but I think you need Security before you start anything that way if wanted you can have the best of both worlds if wanted

Don’t forget Security can be anything from a bit of money in the bank 🏦 to owning a house🏡 or two 🏡🏡 you may even want to build your business up and then put management in to run it while you escape in a ballon to find a lost palace in the jungle or learn how to climb a jungle gym with your 3yr child and her friend 😊 adventures are all around us it all depends on what and how you perceive life

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

Good food, good mood

I have spent half a day thinking about if I could host a dinner party and anyone I invite was sure to come who would I invite ? My mind went for the obvious celebrity names past and present, then I scrapped that and really thought about this as if someone had given me this amazing power to have a real out of time and reality experience to never be repeated. So I mentally started planning, please sit back and enjoy the dinner party that should, but can’t, but would love ❤️ to happen.

Good food, good mood

Table set in pure white linen with with silver cutlery and in the centre of the circular table is a low vase with an impressive display of baby’s breath and colourful freesias at least 100 stems of this fragrant flower have gone into this display, creating a beautiful aroma but leaving a clear visionary aspect for everyone around the table nowhere to hide no tall vases or candles. But there were a dozen short candles that had marks on them appearing to be hour marks. So they had a burn time of 5 hrs. Table elegant, simple but tasteful.

Oh the guests, now the first person was my best mate Claire, why? Because she would go mad if she missed this and she is funny, and deserves the next guest. I would send a message to the peaceful resting grounds for Phillip Jones he is Claire’s dad who sadly died in 2017. My reasons are they have a lot to discuss, she was daddy’s girl and this would help her tremendously plus after they had their time he would be the life and soul of the party. I never got to meet him so it would fill that gap for me also.

Next I would ask my step father Ernest (Ern) Moss he died the end of last year 2022. I never got to see him actually haven’t seen him for well over 10yrs. Due to domestic abuse and being moved from pillar to post. Not being able to look back losing family and friends. At least I could tell him how much I love him and thank him for everything. then tell him in person why I had to go and not leave it so people could poison my name further.

Next was Tommy Shelby the actual character. Or should I say in character he would add some interesting talk to the evening in his no nonsense way he would stay as long as the alcohol kept flowing. We would have political and social, business and I wonder what else he would talk about.

Elvis Presley he would be a welcome face and I know he liked to talk about many subjects plus he might just sing a song or two, talking of which;

Dolly Parton I find her fascinating she has amassed a fortune, been married to the same guy forever. Plus started a literary program for children. I really would love her to join us

Tom Jones well I have a thing about him and I want to see what his conversation is like plus I can get him, Dolly and Elvis to sing 🎶 for their supper good thinking or what 😉

Madame CJ Walker she was an African/American Female entrepreneur, philanthropist and a political and social activist recorded in the Guineas book of records as the first self made female millionaire in America b1867-d1919 . Now she could really liven things up and entertain with her knowledge and be disgusted and amazed with today’s generation.

Just because I can I would like to invite the character Olivia Walton from Waltons Mountain to give her a break from that whining family of hers. Poor woman she talked a lot of sense but those kids well I know the feeling, so I thought she could have the night off and relax. Let someone else cook and clear away.

Okay that’s nine guests and myself so even number of 10 , food will appear when we are seated and I ring the hand bell 🔔. What I forgot to say the guests only have to think of their favourite food from there time it will appear in front of them. Drinks glasses refill without you noticing and dirty dishes just vanish. Well it is but a fantasy. Though if I had a wand I would give my friend one more day with Phil

What do you think gets better with age?

What improves with age is an interesting question and I came up with many comical responses but ended up with this

Ok I will revert to my title Sex in your late teens early twenties the world is yours. Sex well you created it, you are gods 😂 Nope little darlings wait till the age rises and the experience increases and desires become intense that definitely improves with age. No doubt about it . Well had to didn’t I it was in the title.

Age is but a learning curve that should we be lucky enough to travel that road we learn that everything improves with age but is only temporary because it is just a loan like life itself we are given a certain amount of time. None of us knows how long but we should be living our best life , achieving our dreams . Because one day it doesn’t matter what has improved with age like a fine wine 🍷 once it’s drunk . It’s gone. So mature, improve and learn before it’s taken away from you

What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?

I’m so good at sleeping. I can do it with eyes closed

What time do I go to bed to be totally honest when I’m tired 😴 or sometimes I will go to bed about 7pm to read till my eyes just slam shut between midnight and 2am.

It’s called the luxury of my children having grown up, and not working due to a useless piece of , sorry rephrase that my kind ex husband letting the NHS give me a wheelchair as our divorce settlement, to go with the previous gift of disability.

Now once asleep that is good, but I can’t just turn in my sleep, to move my body switches this light on in the brain 🧠 and says Hey 👋 were you sleeping soz like it’s just we want to turn and Madam ain’t waking. Well cause it’s a shock my brains kick starts everything from voice box, to arms flailing to heart pounding. Well after I haul arse over not easy when muscles are stiff and not playing ball. All comfy again and I know my brain is tired but it is now powering up with questions? Problems! Logic …. Really just SLEEP

As for what time do I wake again this could be down to the day, weather, how I’m feeling, the dog, appointments, jobs in house, list is endless but anytime between 6am and 9.30am

What are you most excited about for the future?

Hello my dear readers, please can you tell me has there been an announcement in the news re the future? No, I didn’t think so. Well let me explain a few things to you.

Yesterday we can’t revisit it, it’s almost like yesterday seems so far away, it’s in the past, gone never to return, nothing can be changed. What’s done is done.

Today is where we are nowhere else just today we only have this moment in time because nothing is promised. So we have to make the very best, the very most of every moment. I guess that’s why they call it the present 🎁 because it is a present a gift to be here right now.

Future how can I write what I am most excited about in the future, when I have no idea of what the future holds. Can you see through a crystal ball 🔮 ? No nor can I. The future is a mystery and is not even written. If I was to be excited about a house move for example it could go wrong so all the excitement would turn to disappointment.

So I live in the here and now the present I live day by day. In this mad sometimes sad world we live in, I exist by spreading smiles that are made fresh daily, hoping that every smile I share is spread and each day that I spread those smiles they go further but that is on a day by day basis

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

What would I let go of for the sake of harmony, well all my life I have tried the ok keep my mouth shut let them think what they like for harmony’s sake. No not worked

I have gone without, worn what I have been told to keep the peace, everything you can imagine to keep things harmonious in the home.

Well now I have decided I will never give anything up because yes there is compromise but keeping things harmonious has been a word used the wrong way for me for far too long

On what subject(s) are you an authority?

I know a lot about many things, and I know a lot more than I am credited for. But you see it doesn’t always pay to let people know all that you know. Because then they have a little power over you.

The one thing I am sure of and it’s taken me all my life to realise I am the one true authority on the subject of me, Kim, and what makes that so interesting is when I am gone, people can speculate but never truly know the answers, did I didn’t I? Because the one true authority on my life will have passed.

We all are creators and authorities of our lives and we have a predisposition towards blaming anyone or thing as to why we did not achieve our dreams when the truth is if everyone achieved stardom, massive wealth, fame, had private islands and never had to work again how would we seriously survive? So to the wonderful people who work night and day who keep us all alive, just remember your story is precious, it’s gold wove into the fabric of your country and earth 🌏 you are an authority on the subject of you. your life stories make up such a glow.

So there my friends I am not going to talk about what I can do or what diplomas I’ve gained or the letters that come after my name. All I will say is all of these things are in the Subject of Kim of which I am an Authority on

What’s your definition of romantic?

I used to be a hopeless romantic, then life served a few low shots. Now I’m struggling to find any ahhhh in romantic 💘. It’s not all cute teddy bears and butterflies in the stomach, not even fireworks when you touch. For goodness sake if anyone is still thinking ‘oh me oh my that lady is so wrong’ No I’m not

This is what romantic should be honesty, integrity and treating a person properly, with respect. Oh I’m sure you all like the hearts and flowers and soppy stuff, but give me a man who will treat me respectfully and with care. Be honest not a cheating lowlife and in return he gets the same

That is romantic, of course my shoulders need a massage and ankles but that’s an add on, I just thought we’ll it sounded sweet ish
