What’s the story behind your nickname?
My nickname was at first something that made me pout, stamp my feet and turnabout, walk out the room with a backwards shout, I AM NOT A COW, DADDY.
Growing up I really disliked my nickname, why did dad have to go and pick that name, my younger sisters was nicer, the more people got to hear the name and the reason behind it, the more I was called it.
As an adult I still disliked it until my step dad passed away the end of 2022. I craved to hear him call me this name because I realised at last it was a term of endearment. That all those years I took it as an insult it wasn’t it’s strange how nicknames can make you feel. Mine has taken me over 50yrs to finally accept when it’s too late.
Oh what was it? Well I grew up on a farm and for the cattle in the yard Dad always had flower names for them one day he called my sister Daisy and me Blossom. we squealed because that’s the cows names.
So Blossom I was and in memory of an amazing man Blossom I shall remain
Keep Smiling ☺️
